Profits from the Garden Tour fund Master Gardener Extension Volunteer projects that educate our community and beautify public spaces in our county.

History
 
The garden tour provides visitors to learn how Master Gardeners design, plant and maintain their gardens here in the county.The Garden Tour is held every other year. 

Gardens will be selected for the tour by meeting the following criteria:

 

1. Possess an unique vision of garden design and beauty

2. Fulfill "real-life" solutions to challenges facing homeowners such as drought conditions, gardening in small spaces or in difficult terrain

3. Located within Forsyth County area at the home of an active Forsyth County Master Gardener

4. Profits from the Garden Tour fund ongoing and future Master Gardener projects.　 These projects help us　educate the community through a variety of programs held throughout the year.  Proceeds are also used to help beautify the public gardens in our county.
